What we buy
Step vans we purchase
The list below covers the trucks we take most. If it walks in and drives out and it's built on a step-van chassis, it's worth asking about.
Ford F59 P1000 / P1200
18-, 22-, and 24-foot walk-ins on the Ford F59 chassis. V10 gas and 6.7L diesel both fine. Utilimaster or Morgan Olson bodies preferred.
Freightliner MT45 & MT55
MT45 and MT55 chassis with Utilimaster, Morgan Olson, or Grumman bodies. Cummins ISB / ISB6.7 diesel, MB906, and older 3126 setups.
Utilimaster & Morgan Olson bodies
Aluminum walk-in bodies coming off Ford, Freightliner, Chevy, or Workhorse chassis. Route-ready or needs a chassis swap.
Bread & bakery route trucks
Bimbo, Sara Lee, Thomas', Entenmann's, Snyder's-Lance, and other bakery-route trucks coming off contract or corporate rotation.
Parcel & last-mile step vans
Corporate last-mile step vans from parcel, uniform, and appliance-delivery fleets — sold direct from the fleet owner.
Older Workhorse & Grumman
P30 and P32 Workhorse chassis and older Grumman Olson walk-ins. Runners, project trucks, and parts trucks all worth an ask.
Who we buy from
Who sells step vans to us
We work with the fleet managers, corporate transportation directors, and terminal operators who need to move step vans without one-at-a-time listings. Direct buyer, no dealer margin, no auction fees, no middlemen.
Bakery route fleets
Bimbo Bakeries USA and family brands (Sara Lee, Thomas', Entenmann's), Flowers Foods, Snyder's-Lance corp fleet — coming out of a route or a terminal.
Parcel & last-mile fleets
Amazon corporate last-mile, USPS contractors, and other parcel and last-mile fleets rotating step vans out of service.
Grocery & distribution
SpartanNash, Coca-Cola Consolidated, PepsiCo/Frito-Lay corporate fleet, and grocery-distribution route trucks.
Uniform & linen routes
Cintas, UniFirst, Aramark route fleets — walk-ins coming off contract or corporate rotation.
Terminal closings & consolidations
Full terminal closures, route consolidations, and post-acquisition fleet cleanups where 20+ trucks need one buyer.
Auction alternates & salvage lots
Trucks the auction won't move, or units already at the salvage yard. Runners, non-runners, and title-in-progress trucks all worth an ask.
What to send
What to include when you sell your step vans
Send whatever you have — you don't need every item to get started. The more we can size up quickly, the faster we can talk numbers.
Year, chassis & body
Chassis (Ford F59, Freightliner MT45/MT55, etc.) and body (Utilimaster, Morgan Olson, Grumman). Length in feet if you know it.
Engine & mileage
Gas or diesel, engine spec if you know it (6.7L Cummins, 6.8L V10, MB906, etc.), and odometer.
Title status
Clean, lien, salvage, in-progress, or corporate transfer — just tell us where it stands.
Runs / doesn't run
Runs and drives, starts but doesn't move, or dead. Non-runners still get offers if the truck is worth it.
Location & count
Yard or terminal city and state, and how many trucks. For 3+ trucks, a simple spreadsheet with one row per unit is ideal.
VIN — during private follow-up
No need to post full VINs publicly. We'll confirm VINs privately once we're moving toward an offer.

Step van selling FAQs
What step vans do you buy?
Ford F59 P1000, P1200, and P1500 chassis with Utilimaster or Morgan Olson bodies. Freightliner MT45 and MT55 walk-ins. Grumman and older Workhorse P-series. Bread routes, parcel, uniform, and route-delivery trucks. Standard 22-footers are the main target, but 18-footers and 28-footers are welcome too.
Do you buy one step van or a whole fleet?
Both. One truck, five, ten, or an entire route rotation coming off service. Send a unit list with year, chassis, body, mileage, engine, and title status and we'll go from there.
Where do you buy step vans?
Nationwide. Industrial Equipment Buyer is based in Central Florida and buys step vans coast to coast — we travel to pick up when the deal is right. Recent stops include Michigan, Indiana, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
Do you buy non-running step vans?
Often, yes. High-mileage, needs-work, and non-running walk-ins can still be worth an offer if the chassis and body are solid. Share honest condition and title status.
How do I get an offer?
Fill out the form on this page or call or text 321-977-1194. Niko or a rep reviews every submission and follows up directly. If it fits, we coordinate payment, title work, and pickup around your schedule.
