An unused labeled reel and a bin of mixed pull-outs need different details for review. I buy both kinds of lots across the United States; send the material as it sits so we can discuss the right offer.
Unused reels and contractor overstock
Photograph the manufacturer label, wire type, gauge or kcmil size, voltage rating and remaining length if known. Tell me if a reel is sealed, opened or partially used. Keep readable labels with the material.
Used cable, cut-offs and insulated scrap
Share photos of the whole lot and conductor ends where already exposed. Note copper, aluminum or mixed material, insulation, visible contamination and estimated weight. Do not cut into live or installed cable to get a photo.

What to include when you sell your wire
A few details help us size up an offer quickly. Send whatever you have on hand — you don't need every item to get started.
Metal & type
Copper or aluminum, and the kind if you know it — Romex/NM, THHN, feeder, or MC.
Insulated or stripped
Whether it's still insulated, partly stripped, or bright/bare copper.
Rough quantity
Estimated weight or length, if known. Otherwise, tell us how many reels, boxes, or bins you have and whether reels are full or partial. Label estimates as estimates.
Gauge or size
Photograph the reel label and readable jacket markings, including AWG or MCM/kcmil size. If you can't identify the wire, send the markings rather than guessing.
Condition
Tell us whether it's unused overstock, used pull-out, cut-offs, or mixed scrap. Include close-ups of any visible damage and note whether copper and aluminum are mixed together.
Location & photos
Share your city or ZIP, an overview of the entire lot, and close-ups of labels. Include your cleanout deadline and whether the material is loose, in bins, or ready to load.

Do you buy copper tubing, radiators and AC coils?
Yes. Along with wire, we buy copper tubing and pipe, copper and brass radiators, AC and condenser coils, heat exchangers, copper fittings, welding and brazing rods, bus bar and other copper scrap.
Do you buy burnt copper wire?
Yes. Burnt and fire-damaged copper wire is still worth sending. Share a photo of the lot and a rough weight so we can review it.
What kinds of wire do you buy?
We buy insulated copper and aluminum wire and cable — Romex/NM-B, THHN, 8 and 12 gauge, 500, 750 and 1000 MCM, and most building and feeder wire. Stripped, unstripped, tangled, on reels, or in scrap piles are all fine.
Do I have to strip the wire first?
No. We buy wire both stripped and unstripped. Strip it if that's easy for you, but there's no need to — send it however it comes off the job.
Will you take tangled wire, cut-offs, and partial reels?
Yes. Tangled bundles, short cut-offs, pull-outs, partial and full reels, and mixed scrap piles are all worth sending to us. Tell us the rough weight or size and what's in the mix.
How do you figure out what the wire is worth?
Value depends on the metal (copper or aluminum), the gauge, whether it's stripped, and the rough weight. Share photos and an estimated weight and a representative will follow up with an offer.
